Charlotte Seager lives in London with her partner David and their daughter Bella. She grew up in the Suffolk countryside and moved to London after university to join The Guardian as a writer on the children's books site.
She has since written columns and features for The Guardian, The Independent and The Times and Sunday Times. She was editor of the Guardian Careers desk, before moving papers to join The Times and The Sunday Times, heading up audience engagement and editorial innovation. Charlotte now works for the Financial Times, overseeing journalism strategies for new audiences.
Her two young-adult novels: My [Secret] YouTube Life and Follow Me, Like Me, are published in five languages.
